Dr. Mascolo received his Ph.D. at the State University of
New York at Albany, and received post-doctoral training
in human development at Harvard University. He has
over 25 years of experience in higher education, teaching
and research. He is author of the forthcoming
Psychotherapy as a Developmental Process (with Dr.
Michael Basseches, Routledge/Taylor & Francis). He is
co-editor (with Sharon Griffin of Clark University) and
contributor to What Develops in Emotional
Development?, and (with Jin Li, Brown University)
Culture and Developing Selves He is the founding editor
of Pedagogy and the Human Sciences, an online academic
journal devoted to teaching and learning in higher
education (www.pedagogyandhumanscience.org). His is
the author of over 100 publications and papers on issues
related to human development. In addition, he is
founder, editor and contributor to North Shore Children
& Families, a free monthly publication devoted to
promoting the development of children, families and
adults on Boston's North Shore (see www.
northshorefamilies.com).
